ERASMUS WILL STAY IN MY HEART

AT THE AND I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT ERASMUS GAVE ME A LOT OF GOOD ENERGY. IT WILL BE VERY HARD TO SAY GOOD BYE AND COME BACK TO MY LIFE IN POLAND. THANK YOU EVERYBODY WHO I MET HERE BECAUSE I KNOW THAT I HAVE SUCH A WARM MEMORIES BECAUSE OF PEOPLE I HAD CHANCE TO MEET.
IT WAS GREAT TO TAKE CLASSES IN HADERSLEV. IT WAS VERY INTERESTING FOR ME TO SEE HOW PHYSIOTHERAPY LOOKS LIKE IN DENMARK. I AM GLAD THAT I HAD CHANCE TO IMPROVE MY ENGLISH. NOW I KNOW A LOT ABOUT DENMARK...PEOPLE WHO LIVE THERE, HOW THEY SPEND FREE TIME, WHAT THEY LIKE TO EAT, HOW THEY CELEBRATE EASTER ETC...
ONE MORE THINK I ENJOY A LOT... IT WAS TO SPEND TIME WITH PEOPLE FROM ERASMUS PROGRAM, TO SPEND TIME WITH PEOPLE FROM SO MANY DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, TO COMMUNICATE IN THE SAME LANGUAGE WHICH IS NOT OUR MOTHER TONGUE LANGUAGE, TO BE TOGETHER WHEN IS RAINING OR WHEN SUN IS SHINING.
WHEN I THINK ABOUT ERASMUS I JUST SMILE TO MYSELF. IT WAS UNFORGETTABLE TIME. ERASMUS WILL STAY IN MY HEART:)

LANGUAGE AND IDENTITY

I JUST DISCOVERED THAT I DID NOT WRITE ANYTHING ABOUT MODULE 3. MAYBE THIS IS THE REASON WHY I CAN NOT SLEEP THIS MORNING:)
THE MODULE CONTAINS LANGUAGE AND IDENTITY CLASS. I REMEMBER THAT WE HAD VERY INTERESTING TIME THAT TIME. WE MADE OUR OWN LANGUAGE PORTRAIT TO SHOW OUR FEELINGS ABOUT LANGUAGES WE SPEAK OR WE WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK. DURING THIS CLASS I REALIZED HOW WARM FEELING I HAVE ABOUT MY OWN LANGUAGE AND ALSO ABOUT ENGLISH. ALSO I DECIDED TO STUDY PORTUGUESE IN MY FUTURE BECAUSE I HAVE A LOT OF GOOD MEMORY WITH THIS LANGUAGE.
DURING THIS CLASS EVERYONE WROTE A POEM...A COLOUR POEM. SOME STUDENTS WERE REALLY GREAT WITH THIS ACTIVITY.
AT THE AND WE TALKED ABOUT COLOURS AND WHAT THEY SYMBOLIZE.

PRACTICE IN KOLDING

The practice which I had in hospital, in Kolding it was very valuable time for me. I had chance to see how physiotherapists work in Denmark. It was really surprise to see so many of them in one place. In my opinion it is good to have such a big team because you are able to spend enough time with your patient.
Most patients I met there had neurological or orthopedic disorders which is the same as in Poland. Also I saw patients with cardiologic problems. They usually work as team of 6-8 people.
One thing which surprised me it was fact that there is swimming pool in hospital. I think it is very useful to exercise in the water.
Also I like their way to register information about patient. They use computer program to do it. Before and after you see your patient you can take a look there to check what is he/her condition right now. If you have any suggestion you can also add something. Doctors, nurses and the rest of hospital staff can read it to see how the patient is doing right now.
It was pleasure to had practice in hospital. Physiotherapists we met there were very open and they were always ready to answer our questions. They wanted to show us as much as it was possible.
I am glad I had chance to see how physiotherapists work in Denmark and what kind of methods they use working with patients.

SPECIAL NEEDS

SPECIAL NEEDS CLASS IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST INTERESTING FOR ME. I STUDY PHYSIOTHERAPY SO I AM GOING TO MEET PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS VERY OFTEN IN MY FUTURE WORK. IT WAS VERY INTERESTING TO GET SOME INFORMATION ABOUT EDUCATION SYSTEM FOR SPECIAL NEEDS PUPILS FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. I THINK IT LOOKS QUITE SIMILAR EVERYWHERE BUT OF COURSE THERE ARE SOME DIFFERENCES. AT THE AND EACH COUNTRY HAD TO PREPARE PRESENTATION ABOUT WORK WITH SPECIAL NEEDS PUPILS. JOANNA, MARTA AND ME PREPARED PRESENTATION ABOUT DIFFICULTIES IN POLAND FOR DISABLE PEOPLE. WE ALSO PRESENTED HOW OUR COUNTRY TRIES TO HELP THEM AND MAKE THEIR LIFE EASIER.

Music gives you power!!!

Even if you are not good at singing or playing instruments etc...it is always a lot of fun to take music class. I know about it after participating music class in Syd University.
We had a lot of fun when we were singing all together and our teacher was playing piano. I think that singing gives us energy and we can feel much better.
Another activities which was very interesting it was to make a story to the music. We were parted for small groups. Each group get different music and we had time to prepare story and performed for others. It was really challenging to work on it. It was also very interesting to watch another groups. I think everybody was so talented and we had great time doing it. After the class I felt so good and relax. Also I felt that I had so much power!!!

MECHANICAL DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT INCL. ACUPUNCTURE FOR LUMBAL COLUMNA

LAST WEEK I HAD CHANCE TO GO TO ESBJERG TO TAKE SOME CLASSES THERE. IT WAS VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE FOR ME TO HAVE CLASSES WITH DANISH STUDENTS. ALSO THE MODULE WHICH I TOOK WAS VERY INTERESTING.
AT THE BEGINNING I HAD LECTURE ABOUT ACUPUNCTURE AND SOME PROBLEMS WITH BACK. AFTER THAT WE STARTED TO PRACTICE. IT WAS VERY GREAT TO TRY ACUPUNCTURE. I HAVE NEVER TRIED IT BEFORE. IN POLAND WE EVEN HAVEN'T TALKED ABOUT IT DURING OUR EDUCATION. I DISCOVERED THAT STUDDING PHYSIOTHERAPY LOOK DIFFERENT HERE THAN IN POLAND.
IN POLAND IT TAKES 5 YEARS TO GET MASTER DEGREE. DURING THIS TIME WE HAVE MANY HOURS PRACTICE. THERE IS NO ENOUGH TIME TO DO IT DURING ACADEMIC TIME SO WE HAVE TO PRACTICE WHEN IS SUMMER AND WE SHOULD HAVE VACATION:(
IN DENMARK EDUCATION TAKES 3,5 YEARS. 3 YEARS STUDENTS HAVE CLASSES AND AT THE END THEY HAVE HALF YEAR PRACTICE. WHEN THEY ARE ON THIRD YEAR THEY CAN CHOOSE SOME MODULES WHICH THEY ARE INTERESTED IN. IN POLAND WE HAVE TO FOLLOW OUR SCHEDULE. THERE IS NO WAY TO CHOOSE WHAT YOU LIKE THE MOST. I THINK THAT SOMETIME WE HAVE TO STUDY TOO MUCH AND SOME TOPICS ARE NOT USEFUL AT ALL. I AM STARTING TO LIKE DANISH WAY OF EDUCATION:)

KOPENHAGEN... the best city for bikers!!!

Last week all erasmus students visited capital city of Denmark. I have never been there before so I was very excited about our trip.
I think Kopenhagen it's really cool city. It's not very modern and it's quite crowded- there are always people on the street which is different than in Haderslev. One think which I really love about the city is fact that there are so many bikes. People bike every where even when is snowing. Every where there are bikes roads so it is very easy to move just by bike:)
I like it so much and it reminds me about Amsterdam- city which I love!!!
During our trip we visited many interesting places like National Museum or famous Christiania but there is still much more to see so I am going to go back there very soon:)

SOMETHING ABOUT STEREOTYPES...
BEFORE I COME TO DENMARK I HEARD SOME INFORMATIONS ABOUT COUNTRY AND PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN.
I KNEW THAT THEY ARE CLOSED AND THEY PRESERVE THEIR PRIVACY. ALSO I HEARD THAT THEY LOVE HOT DOGS AND BEER. I AM NOT SHURE ABOUT BEER BUT YES...HOT DOGS ARE EVERYWHERE. EVEN WHEN IS SO COLD OUTSIDE PEOPLE BUY THEM AND EAT ON THE STREET. ONE THING SURPRISE ME A LOT. WHEN I WALK OUTSIDE AFTER 8P.M THERE ARE NO PEOPLE. I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY HIDE THEMSELF...?
IN POLAND WE LOVE TO SPEND TIME OUTSIDE. WE BARBEQUE A LOT. ALSO POLISH PEOPLE EAT POTATOS VERY OFTEN. SOME OF THEM EVEN EVERY DAY. POLISH ARE VERY CLOSE WITH FAMILY. WE SELEBRATE MANY OCCASIONS WITH OUR FAMILY FOR EXAMPLE BIRTHDAY, CHRISTMAS, EASTER OR NAME DAY.
POLISH PEOPLE ARE NOT GOOD WITH LANGUAGES. I THINK WE DON'T HAVE GOOD LANGUAGE EDUCATION IN POLAND. PEOPLE WHO CAN COMMUNICATE IN ANOTHER LANGUGES TRAVEL A LOT-THIS IS REASON WHY THEY ARE ABLE TO TALK NOT ONLY POLISH.
ALSO POLISH LIKE TO DRINK VODKA FOR ANY OCCASIONS SO BE READY TO HAVE BIG HANGOVER IF YOU VISIT MY COUNTRY;)

Last Thursday, on February 4th, I visited one physotherapy clinic in Haderslev. I was very excited to see how it looks like here. I discovered many differences between Denmark and Poland.
First of all I noticed that here there are so many physiotherapists. In Poland there are not too many of them so thay are not able to take care about patients as well as they need.
In the clinic people exercise in small groups. Groups are organized by young people or older patients, people who have problem with knees or back. I think it is good system because people can focus on exercises they really need. In my country everybody works together. No matter if they are old or young, or what kind of health problem they have.
In Denmark rehabilitation process takes 2-4 months and patients come to the clinic 2 times a week. They learn how to exercise and after that they keep doing it at home. In Poland patients come to a clinic every day by 2-6 weekes.
Another thing which surprised me it was fack that if you want to be a physiotherapist you study only 3,5 years and you don't have problem to get a job. In Poland we study 5 years and many young people can't find a job so they are not able to work in their profession.
There are much more differences but I decided to write about some of them. If you want to know more you can ask me:)
At the end I would like to say that I really like Danish way. Even if they have to pay 50% of their tax there is no problem. They still have enough money to live and they have great health insurence which is very important.

EVEN WHEN IS SNOWING I AM SMILING BECAUSE I AM IN NEW PLACE.
TRAVELING, TRAVELING, TRAVELING....ALWAYS GIVES ME SO MUCH ENERGY.
I AM SO GLAD THAT I HAVE CHANCE TO BE ON NEW LAND AND DISCOVER SOME CULTURAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN DENMARK AND MY COUNTRY.
WHAT CAN I SAY...DREAMS COME TRUE...
